Why You Should Be Cleaning Your Purse More Often
I can't stress to you enough how important a clean and organized purse is. When your purse is organized you can find things faster. When it's clean you don't have to worry about getting it dirty or finding crumbs on the bottom. (Is that a raisin? When was the last time I had raisins?)
My purse wasn't always organized, though. I also had it messy with tons of junk floating around in it. I'd be lucky to find my phone, or anything else I was looking for. A few times I thought I lost my phone when really it was just buried deep in some corner of my purse covered with junk.
I now clean my purse on a weekly basis and it all comes down to bananas. I think I've already told you this story in this post, but in case you missed it, here it goes....
I always pack a snack for my daughter when we're running errands or going shopping. This time I put a banana for her to eat along with some goldfish crackers. We decided to go to the outlet malls and I found a nice small purse. I bought it and only transferred the essentials into my new purse, you know...with it being smaller and all I could only fit so much.
I gave my daughter her snack, because we had been out all day, and I tossed my old purse to the side when we got home. (Big mistake!!) Days later I needed to use my other purse, so I got it out and decided to give it a little cleaning before using it. What did I find inside? A banana! A rotten banana to be exact! It was runny and mushy and disgusting! It totally ruined the inside of my purse, along with the other items I had in there.
It was then that I realized the importance of cleaning out my purse. I now clean it out more often, especially when I know I put food in there, and bananas do not go in my purses anymore either.
So ladies, this is why you should clean your purse out more often. After switching purses, clean out the other purse and do not leave anything in there. Don't make the same mistake I did, because rotten bananas are no fun.
What's the most disgusting thing you've found in your purse?
