30 Day Neat & Tidy Challenge

(View my sharing policy here)

I have had this blog for about 2 1/2 years now and it's about time I have an Organizing Challenge!  That is what this whole blog is about, right?  I feel I have come a long way from that girl who had no idea what she was doing but wanted to get her life organized!  I have really learned a lot along the way, and I'm still learning more and more each and every day, and it's time I pass the learning on to you.

This challenge is about clearing the clutter and organizing in a way that makes sense to you.  I will provide tips and tricks in each challenge so you can pick and choose what works for you and get your space organized.  We will do this challenge together so we can support and encourage each other along the way!

I am beyond excited for this challenge, especially since I will have you by my side for all of it!  It will be a 30 Day Neat & Tidy Challenge with weekends off and four Choose Your Chore Days.  On those four days you will have the opportunity to tackle a chore that is not on the list or finish any projects you have already started.  I've purposely left the weekends off for catch up days or rest days.  (We don't want to get too overwhelmed!)

Here is what's on the agenda.

Day 1 - Jewelry
Day 2 - Nightstand
Day 3 - Closet
Day 4 - Under Bed
Day 5 - Purse / Wallet
Day 6 - Office
Day 7 - Choose Your Chore Day!
Day 8 - File Cabinet / Paperwork
Day 9 - Under Sink
Day 10 - Medicine Cabinet
Day 11 - Linen Closet
Day 12 - Entry Way / Command Center
Day 13 - Kid's Toys
Day 14 - Kid's Dresser
Day 15 - Kid's Closet
Day 16 - Choose Your Chore Day!
Day 17 - Laundry Room
Day 18 - Upper Cabinets
Day 19 - Lower Cabinets
Day 20 - Fridge
Day 21 - Pantry
Day 22 - Utensil Drawer
Day 23 - Choose Your Chore Day!
Day 24 - Cars
Day 25 - Home Binder
Day 26 - Craft Area
Day 27 - Junk Drawer
Day 28 - Books & Magazines
Day 29 - Book Shelves
Day 30 - Choose Your Chore Day!

I Just Finished the 30 Day Neat & Tidy Challenge, Now What?

You can print out your very own list here so you can follow along and cross off the tasks as you finish them.

Make sure to follow along on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to upload your pictures!  You can tag me or use #TeamNeatAndTidy so we can see your progress and you can connect with others in this challenge!

You will also be able to get reminders for each day's challenge by entering your email at the top of the page!  Just simply enter your email address and you will get the challenges, and other posts, sent right to your inbox!  This means you won't have to miss a thing!

So who's ready to get their organizing on?  I'll see you here on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 where we will kick this Organizing Challenge off!  Make sure to share this with your friends, sister, mother, neighbors and whoever else you know so we can help motivate each other to get organized!

  11. This post comes at the perfect time. I have been organizing my home, getting rid of the clutter, and throwing out old junk for the last few weeks. I decided to do one room at a time. I only have two left out of six...not bad!! I think it's great your having a challenge.

    1. Thank you Rachel! I'm a visual person so seeing all the tasks that I need to do and being able to cross one more off the list really motivates me and makes it seam like less work. Hopefully it helps others in the same way too.
