DIY Holiday Decor: Wine Cork Ornaments

We have been collecting wine corks for a long while now, so we have a pretty good amount.  I wanted to use some of them this year for a holiday project and thought that incorporating them into our tree as ornaments would be the perfect way!  The best part is they were super easy to make!

I gathered some materials that I needed.  All I used for this projects were wine corks, ornament hooks and pliers.

This project will take you less than a minute to complete one!  Just simply grab your wine cork and decided which side you want it to hang from.  I chose the side that already had the hole from the cork screw.  I then flattened one side of the ornament hook and pushed it into the existing hole.  Some of the corks were a little difficult, so I used pliers to help push the hooks in.

I tied a pretty gold bow on the top of all my corks to add a little sparkle.

After that you just simply hang your corks onto the tree and you have a super cheap and beautiful ornament!

Am I the only one who collects their wine corks for random projects?

Stay tuned later on this week for more DIY ornaments!
