Small Office Supplies Storage

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  Mine was busy, but I still had time to do a little organizing.  One project I crossed off my list was finding a way to store my small office supplies so they are all together and accessible.  You know the ones….paper clips, push pins and all those extra file tabs.

I was cleaning the other day when I came across this little bead organizer.  I thought the compartments were perfect!  I hadn't used the beads in years, so I tossed them together in another bead bin and cleaned this one up a little.

I then gathered all the small office supplies that I had and put them in their new home.  This one is a small bead organizer but I've seen larger ones sold at craft stores and Walmart.  Some even have adjustable compartments so you can fit larger items.

On the outside I used my, wait for it……shelf liner to decorate the front.  (I love, love, love that stuff!)  I wanted it to have some color and I love chevron!  I also put a label on the top and side so I will be able to know what's inside.

I then put this little box into a bigger box of office supplies.  Now everything is in one place and easy to find!  Here's one last look.

Have you used bead or tackle boxes to organize anything?

  2. I have a large(!) tackle box with many storage organizers, each with repositionable dividers, which I use to organize buttons by color and size. My white buttons use a large one all by themselves. I have some specialty buttons that are in another organizer. The rest of the buttons are organized by color in ROYGBIV order, plus black and brown.
